What is it?
An Echo Doppler test is a non-invasive, pain-free diagnostic procedure, which helps cardiologists determine the condition of your heart by analyzing:
- The functioning of your valves
- The speed and movement of blood flow
- The size of your heart
- The ability of your cardiac chambers to pump blood
How it Works
A licensed Care For Heart professional technician preps you for testing by talking you through the procedure and addressing all queries that you may have. The imaging is done through an ultrasound of the left side of your chest, which is obtained once an electrocardiogram (EKG) of your heart is complete.
Our technician carefully continues through the Doppler portion of the test with the help of a small, gelled plastic probe to record several high-quality ultrasound images of your heart and its various chambers for further research and analysis by your cardiologist.
A complete report with all relevant data, measurements and digital imaging is prepared and sent to your doctor soon after your test is completed.
Care For Heart also offers fast turn-around of results and specialist cardiac
consultations on urgent cases.
